Peter (Pete) J. Dobrydnio, formerly a long-time resident of Eastchester, New York, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the age of 67.

Beloved husband of Rena (Baeza) Dobrydnio, beloved brother of Mitchell (Elaine)
Dobrydnio and Christine Dobrydnio and admired uncle of Lori (Randy) Elson and their
three children Eric, Luke and Holly and Douglas (Danielle) Dobrydnio and their two sons Derek and Dylan. And, a greatly valued and respected friend of many.

Peter (Pete) J. Dobrydnio, formerly a long-time resident of Eastchester, New York, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the age of 67.

three children Eric, Luke and Holly and Douglas (Danielle) Dobrydnio and their two sons Derek and Dylan. And, a greatly valued and respected friend of many.

Peter was born in Mount Vernon, NY, graduated from Eastchester High School where he participated in baseball, football, and other activities. In recent years he manned the chains for the Eagles' football games. He received his Associates Degree from Mercy College in Liberal Arts. He joined the United States Air Force in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1971 after four years of Active Duty and two years in the Reserves. Peter was a life-long member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the POW-MIA CT Forget-Me-Not and Danbury Railway Museum.

He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, NY Rangers, Eastchester High School Eagles,
Modified racing and participated in softball leagues in Eastchester, NY, and Danbury, CT.
Peter was an associate for many years at Curry Chevrolet in Scarsdale, NY as well as Courtney Honda in Milford, CT and Most recently Milford Auto Supply in Milford, CT.

Visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Saturday 9-10:30 AM. Funeral Services on Saturday 11AM at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Eastchester, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wounded Warriors, POW-MIA CT Forget-Me-Not and The Animal Center in Newtown, CT.
