Elizabeth Anna Pierdiluca, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Eastchester, NY on May 18th. She was born on January 31st 1928 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Habich in Mount Vernon, NY.

She was raised in Yonkers NY, where she met and married her teen-age sweet heart, Aldo Pierdiluca, who pre deceased her in 2005. "Betty", as she was known by all, and Aldo both attended PS 14 in Yonkers. Betty went to Commerce High School and Aldo went to Saunders Trade and Technical High School. Elizabeth Anna Pierdiluca, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Eastchester, NY on May 18th. She was born on January 31st 1928 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Habich in Mount Vernon, NY.

She was raised in Yonkers NY, where she met and married her teen-age sweet heart, Aldo Pierdiluca, who pre deceased her in 2005. "Betty", as she was known by all, and Aldo both attended PS 14 in Yonkers. Betty went to Commerce High School and Aldo went to Saunders Trade and Technical High School. Aldo enlisted and served in the US Navy during WWII. When he returned they married in 1948. Betty is predeceased by (2) brothers, Joseph and William Habich and is survived by her younger brother George Habich and their remaining respective families. Betty is survived by her (3) children, Michael Pierdiluca and wife Gail, Chicago, Il, Robert Pierdiluca and wife Anna, Yonkers, NY, and Lisa DeCaro Pierdiluca, Yonkers, NY, as well as her (3) grandchildren, Nick and Dana Pierdiluca and Elizabeth DeCaro. Betty worked at Rosen Construction in Yonkers as Mr. Rosen's administrative assistant for over 32+ years and Mrs. Rosen until her retirement circa 2006. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and outstanding woman. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. The wake will be held at the E. L. Bennett Funeral Home at 824 Scarsdale Ave., Scarsdale, N.Y. Thursday May 25th from 4 to 8 pm . A funeral mass will be held Friday May 26th at 10 am at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at the corner of Carmen Road and White Plains Road, Scarsdale, N.Y.
